The Clark County Fair

Of course, as always, the animals were the highlight of our trip to the fair. The kids loved seeing pig after pig, cow after cow... and whatever makes my kids happy makes me happy! The fair is one of those things that has pretty much the VERY bottom of his list- but he was a great sport. We went first thing on Saturday morning to Logandale (about 30-45 minutes away), and it was insane! Kregg's favorite part of the day was seeing the massive amounts of cars (from Logandale to the freeway, at least 10 miles) waiting to go to the fair. You could tell they were all going to be a while. These small towns really take their fairs seriously! Funny as heck.

Mary and Ty were both a little weary about getting on the cow, although Ty managed to smile...
Karson, although he looks drunk, had a great time with all of these science booths. Other than the animals, the boys coulda stayed there all day.

This picture just cracks me up. Ty informed me after I took this picture that there was a guy in there. I never thought the day would come when he would figure out how these things that are so big get around. My little guy's growing up!! *sniff sniff*

Mesquite Days are coming up in a couple weeks- and that is what I'm really excited for. They have a parade, and fireworks, and a carnival. I love these small town celebrations. It would be a really fun weekend if anyone wants to come out!

Looks like the fair was a lot of fun! We went last year and couldn't handle the traffic on the one lane road into Logandale! It was crazy, but lot's of fun.
i can't believe the pigeon flew into the house!Yikes!
I think the bird in the house would freak me out too! Too funny.
