Wanna come to our Family Nights??

Yep- last night we had to take Mar-Mar to the emergency room. We were playing Ring-Around-The-Rosies as we were finishing up our FHE. After we all fell down, Mar got up and ran- and ran right into the edge of the bunk bed. What a beautiful invention that PermaBond stuff is- sure beats stitches!! And, of course, it barely phased her. She is happy as can be!! It's always rougher for the parents, isn't it?? It will leave a nice little scar, I'm sure!

Bath time!

I know I know... you ALWAYS have to do the mohawk...

Some fun pictures!

Sprinklers in the backyard

Boy do the love this! These sprinklers are pretty fun- they go crazy! Even dad looks forward to going out there! We are definitely a water family- we just got a year pass to the rec center so we can go swimming any time we want!! Thanks tax refund!!

Look what I can do!

Can you believe it??? This is a big thing for me. This is just leftover fabric someone gave me, but I think that it still looks pretty good- considering this is the first quilting square I have ever done. We are doing one once a month until we have made our own quilt. I am slowly getting over the trauma I have had from sewing machines.

Update!

Here's the latest update on Mary:
We took her to the ear, nose, and throat doc and she took an allergy test. We got the results back and it was negative. It turns out she isn't allergic to anything! So they think it might be her adnoids, but he didn't have the tools for little ones. So they put her on a decongestant and a perscription, and if nothing changes in the next two weeks, we will have to go to a pediatric ENT specialist in Vegas. So that's the latest! It's a little annoying, but it's good to know that she isn't allergic to milk or pets or grass...

Pinewood Derby

So out here- they have the whole family do the pinewood derby. They give each family one free car kit. So T and the hubby had a really great time making it. If you can't tell- it was my husbands theme...
The car did pretty good for being our first one. It came in 18th out of 36 cars.

Ty and Tee-Ball

He is loving this! He really does a great job. Although- I have had to tell him to put down the bat before he runs to the base instead of just letting it go... He also is incredibly fast and really doesn't give his team-mates much opportunity to go after the ball. They keep putting him at 1st base so that he has to stay there! It's so cute. I wasn't sure how I was going to like the tee- ball part (since he can already hit off of a pitch). But it's growing on me. He's learning the game, so that's nice.
